Having been reading up on the situation in the middle east at the moment, I've been gradually coming round to the same point of view as George Galloway. Worth taking a look at http://www.ifamericansknew.org/ as well.

What an utterly, appallingly rude woman. I'm speechless. (Well, not speechless, as such, but what I wanted to say was "she needs to be clubbed to death for the good of all humanity", which is probably terribly inappropriate, so I'd never say it out loud.)

My take on it is that they worked up a set of questions in an editorial meeting beforehand, and that one of the producers was feeding her questions when George was trying to hand them a Giant Clue. You could tell by the way she wasn't listening to what he was saying, then a pause before launching into a completely different question. So the interview was really between George and whomever was pulling the strings upstairs. Only they were defeated by (a) facts and (b) not being quick enough or smart enough.

Wow. I know people can be dense sometimes but that is just ridiculous.... How the hell can that woman not understand that her questions are rude, pointless and totally missing the point. Sadly, my view on American newsreaders has not been enhanced... I'm sure there are some good ones, I've just never encountered them.
