...nothing quite like it for a facial. I get these little el cheapo face masks every now and again, because if I don't my face feels like its got about 50 layers of crap on it. Today's variety of El Cheapo was a self-heating clay mask. The self-heating part comes from the reaction to water that it has, causing heat.
Feels nice and soothing in winter, and the end result is quite fabulous, particularly on my cheeks. Everything's nice and smooth and clean. Ahhhhhh. Not bad for a cheap mud pack.
If I had the money, however, I'd be in at Elle Bache once every month or so, like I used to. They have brilliant mini-facial sessions for about $35, and the full version for $50. The difference is in the time spent on you and a couple of different treatments bung on your face. I'd alternature between the two, to cut down on costs. I utterly recommend the Elle Bache salons, I haven't found a bad one yet.
Anyone else have a favourite beauty treatment or indulgence?

I have! Do NOT have one's legs waxed at the one in Carillon Arcade. The City Arcade one on the top floor is fine, but the other one...the same girl ripped off my bikini skin twice, and gave me an entire strip of ingrown hairs all down the back of one leg. It sucked.
The one in Subi r0x0rs though.
As for a favourite treatment. Mmm. I like having my eyelashes tinted, but that's not really beneficial to one's wellbeing as such. I'd probably pick a manicure. I've only had one or two, but they were nice. I've been too self-conscious about my skin to really enjoy facials when I've had them. I should try again now that my skin's cleared up, finally.

Hey, if you ever want to do a 'play date' and get a facial together (ooh! err!) let me know! I'd happily go and get one with you. Not that you're in the same room, but you might feel more comfortable with someone you know in the next room. The Mt Lawley Elle Bache is only 3 rooms, anyhoo, so we'd probably own the place if we did it.
